On October 26th, we organized a working lunch during which we discussed how to achieve the goals of digitizing the Public Administration through a no-code cloud development solution.

Our II Cyber Summit was held on September 26th with the theme “Secure-by-design + security + performance” in which addressed the challenge of protecting your applications and websites without losing efficiency, performance and scalability.

On October 4, 5, and 6 of 2023, in A Coruña, the 40th Seminar of Hospital Engineering, National Congress, was held, and Getronics was present once again.

As a fundamental part of its activity, the Center for Industrial Cybersecurity (CCI) holded its XXI International Congress of Experiences in Industrial Cybersecurity 2023 – Bilbao (Spain) from October 3 to 5 (9:00 to 14:00 CEST), hosted by the Basque CyberSecurity Centre.

On the 19th of September, we organized a webinar where we talked about how you can dramatically elevate your return on assets by transforming buildings into digital powerhouses. The conversation of industry-led experts explored the enhanced potential of technology investments and also delved into innovative ideas for new product creation, driving operational cost savings.

Connectis presented the No-Code Cloud (NCC) platform at Web Summit Rio, one of the world’s largest tech conferences, developed in partnership with WEM. The event, which took place last May in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, was a significant stage for innovation announcements and discussions about tech trends.

Between June 13 and 15, 2023, the XXXI Technical Conference was held at the University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR), and Getronics was present with a booth and a presentation. After a nearly 3-year wait, this edition continued from the one cancelled in early 2020 due to the pandemic.

Under the title ‘Secure by Design: Data Protection, Encryption, and Data Erasure,’ we held a luncheon in May in collaboration with Delete Technology, and Thales. During the event, we addressed data protection in its comprehensive context.

During this webinar, we discussed managed remote service, advanced tools, robots, field specialists, and omnichannel strategies with the aim of optimizing resource time while saving costs without compromising the service provided.

Carlos Álvarez, Head of Smart Spaces at Getronics, gave a presentation at the Industrial Xperience Summit organized by CEPSA about a Digital Twin of an industrial R&D center in the United Kingdom.

The Congress&EXPO of the @aslan association once again exceeded expectations and reaffirms itself as the major annual technological event in Spain, bringing together technology leaders and the entire value chain that contributes to digitizing large and small organizations.

For the first time, Getronics participated in Advanced Factories, the largest congress of the manufacturing industry in Spain, alongside its partners, Stormshield and H3C, to present a comprehensive proposal for the digital transformation of the industrial sector.

Throughout the session, there were discussions about self-confidence, networking, personal branding, adaptability, teamwork, key skills for empowering women in the job market, and more specifically in the technology sector, which currently has only a 20% female representation

Getronics, led by Jorge García, Head of Mobility, presented Getronics’ proposal to address one of the major challenges today, which is the adaptation of physical spaces to facilitate the lives of elderly people, by incorporating the necessary technologies in what we can call the process of digital hybridization, the convergence of physical and digital spaces.

Getronics participated in the International Fair of Innovation and Technology for Care Services (FITECU), a meeting point to showcase technological solutions aimed at achieving independent living for elderly people.

Getronics participated last March in the XXVI National Congress of Health Informatics (Inforsalud 2023). This year, we had the opportunity, together with our partners Homedoctor and Huawei Enterprise Spain, to talk about digital and connected health.
