Getronics today announces a series of strategic leadership transitions to support the company’s continued global growth and strengthen its operational capabilities.
Following the successful completion of a planned leadership transition, Chief Operating Officer Andre Ribbens has departed the company. Over the past five years, he played a pivotal role in guiding Getronics through a period of transformation, serving first as interim CEO before returning to his COO role.

To drive the next phase of growth, we welcome Santiago Piacenza as our new Chief Operating Officer, effective 9 June 2025. Santiago brings extensive experience in building global teams, with a strong focus on successful client delivery and high performance in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
The COO role has evolved into a key driver of scalable, AI-enabled, and client-focused services. Santiago’s priority will be to ensure operational excellence while laying the groundwork for long-term, sustainable growth. He will focus on:
- Driving AI-enabled operations
- Streamlining core processes
- Building high-performing global teams
- Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability
His vision is rooted in supporting growth through AI and ways of working – delivering value across our clients, colleagues, and the wider business.
In parallel with this transition, we’re proud to announce two senior promotions:
Rubén Giménez Hernández has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Operations – Infrastructure Services. In this expanded role, Ruben will scale and automate our infrastructure capabilities to meet evolving client needs.
Yolanda de Prado Lopez, formerly Iberian Managing Director, who has held multiple roles across the company and built an impressive career, has been appointed EVP, Operations – Digital Services. Yolanda will now lead the global expansion of our Digital Services – including Applications, Cloud-Native Solutions, Automation, and AI – which are critical to the future growth and competitiveness of Getronics.
To continue driving momentum in the Iberian market, we are also delighted to appoint Nicolas Chercasky as our new General Manager and Managing Director for Iberia, effective 9 June 2025. With over 20 years of IT leadership experience spanning software development and high-growth businesses, Nico brings valuable expertise and a strong record of delivering results. In his new role, Nico will focus on:
- Empowering our regional teams
- Deepening customer relationships
- Accelerating growth across Iberia
- Ensuring a smooth leadership transition
Over the next three months, Nico will work closely with Yolanda to ensure continuity and a seamless handover.
“We’re entering an exciting new phase at Getronics – one that requires continuity alongside a fresh perspective. These leadership appointments reflect our long-term strategy to drive strong execution, foster innovation, and deliver greater value to our clients worldwide. I’m confident that this refreshed team will help us build on the strong foundation we’ve laid and take Getronics to new heights.”
