The Global Workspace Alliance named ‘Most Revolutionary Ecosystem’ by Outsource Magazine
We are proud to announce that the Global Workspace Alliance (GWA) was awarded yesterday with the 2016 TOMMIES for ‘Most Revolutionary Ecosystem’. The TOMMIES stand for the TOM Awards by Outsourcing Magazine, a respected authority in the Outsourcing field, based in the Netherlands.
The ‘Most Revolutionary Ecosystem’ category recognises innovation and cooperation of partnerships and alliances, paying attention on synergies and the results achieved by working together in outsourcing deals. “Thanks to a structured governance, managing the sometimes conflicting interests within the GWA and sharing intellectual property amongst the different GWA partners, the GWA is able to win International Clients which they were not able to support on their own” said the jury while handing the award to GWA representatives Rick Chan-Jon-Chu, Getronics International Sales Director and Astrid Boer-Flitter, Business Development End-User Manager at Centric.
Both Getronics and Centric are partners in the Global Workspace Alliance, together with 9 other players providing innovative, user-centric IT Services to international companies.
“Partnering is not unique in the IT business, but what makes the GWA different is the long-term vision of this strategic partnership that grows rapidly as a global group by delivering pro-active workplace services and striving for high client satisfaction ratings. We deliver value through our Think Global, Be localecosystem. This is recognised and praised by our multiple International Clients, and we are glad it’s also recognised by this institution”, said Rick.
“Working with the GWA has allowed Centric to expand relationships with our clients that were already strong, both from a service scope and a geographic perspective. In addition, we have been able to bring our expertise in the retail industry to the Alliance, which is already showing in new joint wins and a growing pipeline”, added Hans van Wijk, Director for End User Management in Centric.
Other winners included Pepin Karsmakers (construction company Heijmans) as ‘Sourcing Leader’, FrieslandCampina for ‘Most Successful Company’ and Wipro as ‘Most Innovative Vendor’.
