A web application developed by Getronics will manage the thousands of consoles and video games that the Juegaterapia Foundation receives every Christmas for children with cancer
Madrid, 20 December, 2018 – Getronics, the global group of ICT services, has put their experience in application development at the disposal of Juegaterapia Foundation. Getronics has developed a tailored application for managing the many thousands of items donated to the Foundation every year. Employees and volunteers can use the app to easily consult the inventory, increasing the operational capability of the Foundation and its social impact.
The Juegaterapia Foundation collects videogame consoles and other donated items. The Foundation supports children undergoing cancer treatment in hospitals, enabling them to play and learn like any child during their treatment.
The application developed by Getronics allows for a more efficient registration and automated tracking of items donated to the Foundation. Once items have been registered, the application sends an email to all donors and issues a certificate that allows them to be more easily managed. In addition, volunteers can use the app to track the availability of an item in store in real time.
