What is the purpose of our team?

Getronics seeks a proven leader to fill a critical leadership role. To support our growth plans, we are looking for Business Development Manager, to new customer acquisition, sales strategy and execution of our smart spaces business and oversee the growing team of individuals. You should be hands-on, open to learn and take new approach and challenges with highest integrity. Able to develop, build and coach top sales talent.

You would be measured by and expected to achieve agreed sales goals.

What will you do?

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients

Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives

• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support

• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

• Passionate about running the business unit like a business owner and being responsible for the P&L of the smart spaces business unit

• Take on a proactive leadership role to groom sales personnel in the growing smart spaces team

• Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.

• Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners.

• Discovers and explores business opportunities.

• Screens potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.

• Evaluates options and resolves internal priorities.

• Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations.

• Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities.

• Estimates partners’ needs and goals.

• Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.

• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

• Enhances organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

• Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Which experience/skills we are looking for?

  • We look for individuals who embody our values of humility, compassion, teamwork above isolationism, respectfulness, integrity, and good-natured fun.

• Proven track record in business development and sales – in the built environment would be a plus

• A motivated salesperson with a desire to achieve high growth in the business

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and experience presenting to senior level executives

• Excellent business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, independent and result-driven

• IoT / IT background preferred but not a must

Which qualifications/certification you need to have?

  • Gradution is a must
