Beheersmaatschappij Antwerpen Mobiel (BAM)
Set up by the Flemish government in 2003, BAM coordinates the government’s ‘Masterplan 2020’, a set of projects aiming to improve mobility, traffic safety and quality of life in and around Antwerp.
BAM is based in the region of Antwerp, Belgium, which, having become an important economic hub in Europe has experienced significant growth in traffic congestion and reduced accessibility.
BAM is responsible for the realisation of new roads, tramlines and cycling paths, encouraging greater flow of traffic, improved road safety and a greater quality of life for Antwerp’s residents.
With limited internal IT staff, BAM required an IT provider who had the experience and expertise to migrate their whole office environment onto a new platform, guarantee high availability of their business applications and act as trusted business partner.
