Suppliers that exceed our Code of Conduct are on Getronics’ preferred list. We expect our suppliers in turn to require their own suppliers to adhere to the Code. We conduct a risk analysis once a year to identify the suppliers where social norms, including human rights and the exclusion of child labour, could be at issue.

Our environmental requirements in the area of energy use, packaging, recycling and the use of raw materials are incorporated into the standard purchase order specifications and contracts.

Many Getronics suppliers already use E-TASC to audit themselves. This is the audit system supplied by GeSi, a global organisation in which Telecom providers and their suppliers collaborate on making the Supply Chain sustainable.

The Sustainable Procurement policy, risk analysis and audit of the Supplier Code of Conduct and the Code itself are the responsibility of Getronics’ Central Procurement Department.
