KPN and Getronics are sponsoring the World Congress on Information Technology 2010 (WCIT), the ‘Olympic Games’ of IT congresses. The congress is taking place between 25 and 27 May 2010 in the RAI in Amsterdam.

The WCIT is held every two years, each time in a different continent. As a sponsor, KPN/Getronics is involved in the themes: Energy, Mobility (The New Way of Working), eGovernment, eInclusion, and eHealth.

Two thousand top people
The WCIT is attended by some two thousand top people from (ICT) industry, politics and science from over eighty countries. The central theme of this congress is Challenges of Change. Together, congress participants will explore which ICT applications can help promote global innovation in education, healthcare, energy and water, among others.
