New publication book Getronics ‘Successful Outsourcing’

New: the latest Dutch and English editions of Getronics publication ‘Successful Outsourcing’. A practical guide and reference book containing over ten years of experience.

Practical guide

Hans Kateman, consultant at Getronics Outsourcing, is the main author of the book: “The basis of the book was actually laid ten years ago. That was when Getronics started offering outsourcing to the market. We combined the material from our internal Outsourcing courses and that became the precursor of the book. By continuing to update and expand this, it has now become indispensable as a practical and informative guide for organisations considering outsourcing and/or reconsidering outsourcing (recontracting).

Offering overview and insight

It’s a very practical guide featuring chapters on objectives, business case, strategies, partner selection, tenders, personnel aspects, transition, direction and governance. The final chapter presents various Getronics best practices. For example, we describe our view of data centre design and our vision of workplace architecture and connectivity. The book offers readers a rapid overview and insight.

Reference for the market

The book provides answers to questions like ‘How do we assign outsourcing parcels?’ or ‘What are the boundaries of outsourcing?’ or even ‘What does outsourcing involve?’ and ‘What steps do we need to take?’ The outsourcing market has grown up in the last ten years. Big organisations are advised and supported by specialised parties in the market. This book is for them too. It clarifies Getronics’ claim to ‘thought leadership’ in the field of outsourcing.

With Getronics you’ll have a partner that removes ICT-worries and thinks about the future. We "guide" you in the right direction. You can order a copy of the book here.
