Getronics today announced that The Gartner Magic Quadrant for Desktop Outsourcing, Europe has positioned Getronics and its Getronics Workspace Alliance (GWA) as the only visionary in its 2010 Magic Quadrant. For Gartner, visionaries must “have a clear vision of the market's direction and are focused on providing services to meet future market needs”.
Getronics formally launched its Getronics Workspace Alliance in March 2009, creating a strong global IT service organization in which Getronics teams up with leading local service providers across Europe, the Middle East, the Americas and Asia Pacific. The Getronics GWA delivers consistent desktop services to international companies through a single point of contact, bringing the benefits of local engagement while eliminating the need to manage sub-contractors.
Client experience has been extremely positive, as evidenced in the Gartner survey. Clients surveyed specifically referred to the “high degree of client focus and care, strong local presence, good technical capabilities and ability to adapt to their needs”.
The Getronics GWA has had a strong first year, and it will continue to play a central role in the Company’s overall business strategy. Working together with its GWA partners, Getronics continues to develop an innovative and visionary approach to IT service which combines the best of remote, cloud-based delivery with strong local service presence. This combination ensures that clients receive consistent quality of service at clear and transparent cost, wherever they do business.
