Subsea 7 is a seabed-to-surface engineering, construction and services contractor to the offshore energy industry worldwide. It provides integrated services, planning, designing and delivering complex projects in harsh and challenging environments.
Locations: Subsea 7 has onshore and offshore operations in Europe, Africa, the Mediterranean, Asia Pacific, Brazil, North America and the North Sea.
Activities: Subsea 7 enables clients to access a high-end, well diversified fleet, comprising over 40 vessels supported by extensive fabrication and onshore facilities able to deliver the full spectrum of seabed-to-surface engineering, construction and services. In addition, clients have immediate access to a high level of project management, engineering, technical expertise and high-value technologies.
Challenge: Getronics’ challenge was to provide a full end to end infrastructure management and support service for both onshore locations and offshore vessels.
Having worked with Getronics for the past 5 years we have been delighted by their willingness to understand the needs of Subsea 7’s business including both global on-shore locations and vessel fleet. Subsea 7 has recently taken the decision to extend the contract with Getronics for a further 3 years and expand this service model across the legacy Acergy part of the business. The key factors in that decision is their proven ability to provide Subsea 7 with a scalable and robust IT delivery model and at the same time leverage their expertise in technology transformation.
