City Lit has been providing quality part-time courses for adults for 90 years and attracts 30,000 students a year.
Locations: City Lit now boasts excellent facilities at its purpose designed building in the heart of London. Opened in May 2005 and costing £21m, the building extends over 8 floors.
Activities: City Lit offer 3,700 different courses and many of its teachers are distinguished professionals including well-known authors, artists, actors, broadcasters, musicians and academics.
Challenge: To maintain cost effective IT infrastructure and support for both teachers and students that includes fault resolution, desktop, hardware support for servers, backup and security.
We have been very fortunate to have excellent Getronics staff on-site, who although employed by Getronics work, act and behave as if City lit employees, with a ‘can do’ attitude.
