GWA recognised as serious global player.

Getronics Workspace Alliance (GWA) has been recognised as a strong IT infrastructure management performer by the Forrester Wave™. This is a report issued by the influential US analysts Forrester Research, which evaluates the performance of global IT infrastructure management vendors.

Forrester Research are an independent technology and market research company that produce reports providing an objective perspective on particular technology markets. The ‘Global IT Infrastructure Outsourcing, Q1 2011’ report is aimed at sourcing and vendor management professionals and helps customers make informed decisions on technology choices. The March 2011 report takes a detailed look at IT infrastructure management services. It shows that the market for these services is rapidly evolving and that companies are keen to make savings through outsourced IT solutions and show a preference for asset-light transactions, global delivery and cloud services. In this market GWA is seen by Forrester as a "strong performer".

Forrester’s assessment was based on 36 criteria, applied to evaluate the performance of 19 global infrastructure management vendors. The criteria are grouped into 3 high level baskets – current offering, strategy and market presence. GWA is among the leaders in the "strong performer category". This is an excellent achievement for the alliance so early in its history, as it recognises GWA as a serious global player.
