Mark Cook UK CEO talks to BBC on his predictions for IT in 2013
On the 31st December the BBC published an article predicting how technology will progress in 2013. Some of the opinions included representatives from Rackspace, Microsoft UK and EMC. Mark Cook, our UK CEO, commented on the evolving information and innovation that will be presented to us most notably through Online Services. Primarily this will be achieved through the scheme of ‘Choose Your Own Device’ instead of ‘Bring Your Own Device’ that especially supports the use of mobile applications and devices. This will allow business to predominantly focus on their overall strategy whilst reducing costs. The importance of the article is that the idea is not only what Getronics offer as a service but also what Getronics practices as a business – flexibility.
