The Changing role of the CFO
The Changing role of the CFO
Getronics recently held an intimate roundtable debate for CFOs and CIOs from some of the UK’s biggest brands entitled ‘Is the CFO the new CIO?’ The debate was based on a research report commissioned by Getronics, analysing the experiences of 200 CFOs/FDs from organisations across the UK to find out how they see the roles of the CIO and CFO changing. The findings highlight the fact that CIOs are less involved in the IT decision–making for their business, and show that the levels of interaction with IT in the finance department are on the increase. If you’re interested in reading about who really holds the IT purchasing power in businesses and the changing roles of the CFO and the CIO.
