Dutch central bank opts for stability and security
As a solid financial institution, the Dutch central bank (DNB), naturally places very high demands on the security of its ICT infrastructure. When migrating to a new platform it therefore takes no chances. Following a thorough analysis of its infrastructure and the market developments, DNB started migrating to Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 at the beginning of 2003. Getronics advised DNB during the design stage and was engaged to prepare and implement the migration.
